Balikpapan Coal Terminal (BCT)

Our Balikpapan Coal Terminal (BCT) is one the largest coal terminals in Indonesia located in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. BCT is managed by PT Dermaga Perkasa Pratama, the subsidiary of PT Bayan Resources Tbk, and equipped with shiploading and unloading berths. BCT has a handling throughput capacity of 15.0 million tonnes per annum and a stockpiling capacity of approximately one million tons across 16 stockpiles. It is also able to serve handy, panamax and capesize vessels. BCT also has a loading facility with capacity of 4,000 tonnes per hour, enabling it to load a Panamax size vessel in one day. Other than that, BCT also has unloading facility with 5,000 tonnes per hour capacity and is able to unload coal from 2 barges simultaneously. BCT is facilitated to mix coals from 4 stockpiles with computerized system to meet customer specifications.

Kalimantan Floating Transfer Station (KFT)

 

 

  

PT Bayan Resources Tbk subsidiary, PT Muji Lines, owns and manages 11 tugboat units, 15 barge units and 2 floating transfer station units known as Kalimantan Floating Transfer Station 1 (KFT-1) and Kalimantan Floating Transfer Station 2 (KFT-2).

 

KFT-1 is located in South Kalimantan to serve coal sales of PT Wahana Baratama Mining, a subsidiary of PT Bayan Resources Tbk. It has coal loading and unloading facility with capacity of 4,000 tons per hour. KFT-2 is located in East Kalimantan and designed to serve coal sales from Tabang Project, with coal loading and unloading facility of 6,000 tons per hour capacity. Both KFTs are able to serve Handy, Panamax and Capesize vessels and also able to simultaneously load and unload 2 barges of size 2,000 to 10,000 DWT at a time.

 

KFT-1 and KFT-2 may be mobilized as required or to avoid adverse weather for the safety of the KFTs. It is also able to accept third party coals, though so far only serving coals from Bayan Group.

Perkasa Inakakerta (PIK)

 

 

 

PT Perkasa Inakakerta is located in Bengalon, East Kalimantan. It owns PIK Jetty to facilitate the sales of its coals, which has been renovated several times to increase its capacity to serve up to Capesize vessels.

 

PIK jetty has coal loading facility with capacity of 4,000 tons per hour and the longest conveyor of up to 2.80 km toward the sea. The jetty is also surrounded with stockpile with coal storage capacity of 200,000 tons, which is equipped with 2 crushers with respective capacity of 500 tons and 800 tons per hour. PIK jetty is capable of serving Handy and Panamax size vessels.

Gunung Sari Jetty

 

 

Gunung Sari Jetty is located in Belayan river and serves coal delivery from PT Fajar Sakti Prima mine sites to BCT or KFT-2 or to Barge Transshipment Facilities by barges. Gunung Sari Jetty has coal loading facility of 2,000 tons per hour and is equipped with Intermediate Crushing Facility (ICF).

Senyiur Jetty is located in Kedang Kepala river and serves coal delivery from PT Bara Tabang mines to BCT or KFT-2 or to Barge Transshipment Facilities by barge. Currently the Senyiur Jetty has coal loading facility with capacity of 2,000 tons per hour and is under development and expansion to a capacity of 4,000 tons per hour, which is estimated to be completed in 2016.

PT Bayan Resources Tbk also has 2 coal transshipment Barge facilities (CTB-1 and CTB-2) to assist coal delivery from smaller to larger barge. CTB-1 is positioned in Mahakam River, specifically at Desa Murunan, Kota Bangun, whereas CTB-2 is also positioned in Mahakam River, specifically at Desa Muara Kaman, Kota Bangun (situated at the meeting between Kedang Kepala and Mahakam River).

Manau Jetty

 

 

Manau Jetty is located at Kedang Pahu river, East Kalimantan, with coal loading facilities of 1,000 tons and 500 tons per hour capacity. This jetty serves coal delivery from PT Gunungbayan Pratama Coal Block II to BCT or KFT-2 or Barge Transhippment Facilities.

Muara Bunyut Jetty is located in Mahakam River. It has coal loading facility with 2000 tons per hour capacity. This Jetty is managed by PT Teguh Sinarabadi (TSA) and serves the delivery of coal produced by TSA and PT Firman Ketaun Perkasa (FKP), which have adjacent mine sites.

Wahana Jetty is located at Sungai Cuka, Satui, South Kalimantan. It is equipped with coal loading facility of 3,000 tons per hour capacity and Intermediate Crushing Facility (ICF). The jetty serves the delivery of WBM coal to KFT-1 by barge.
